Manchester United's Greenwood faced severe backlash for a domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend, eventually succumbing to societal pressure and leaving for La Liga to play football. However, surprisingly, while in Spain, Greenwood married his former girlfriend who had previously tarnished his reputation, and they now have a child together. Recently, the couple was photographed holding hands and strolling the streets of Spain, prompting reflections on the unnecessary turmoil.

Greenwood emerged from Manchester United's youth academy as a highly promising talent but saw his career marred by his own misconduct. Last year, his girlfriend took to social media, alleging domestic abuse during an argument with Greenwood, and shared several photos of her injuries as proof. Following this revelation, Greenwood was promptly banned by Manchester United, and pressure from various social media outlets mounted, making it untenable for him to continue playing football in England. Consequently, Greenwood had no choice but to leave Manchester United and was loaned to Getafe in La Liga.

What's particularly surprising is Greenwood's marriage to Harriet, his former girlfriend who had caused his downfall, and the birth of their child. Greenwood recently updated his social media, documenting their life together, including a photo of him and Harriet, appearing affectionate while walking hand in hand. While one would expect Greenwood to avoid marrying the woman who had tarnished his reputation, they went ahead with it, leaving observers puzzled about the reasons behind their reconciliation. With no explanation provided, speculation arises that perhaps it was merely a heated argument between young couples that spiraled out of control, with both parties potentially regretting their actions.

With Greenwood now married, the public scrutiny has lessened, and given his decent performance in La Liga, some believe Manchester United should consider welcoming back this talented forward. Rumors suggest that Manchester United is interested in reacquiring him, but Greenwood, disappointed by the club's lack of support during his ordeal, has no desire to return to Manchester United or even play in England. He simply wants to continue playing football in Spain, far away from the storm of public opinion.

For Greenwood, the domestic violence incident undoubtedly serves as a lesson, and it's hoped that he will learn from it and avoid repeating similar mistakes in the future.

Actually, I think the domestic violence incident might have been fabricated by the two youngsters playing around, otherwise, is it reasonable for the girl to marry him after being abused at home?!

After all, having deeply loved before (and having money), earning millions of euros as a player for another year, the man naturally tried every means to win back his girlfriend, salvage his reputation; otherwise, if he were accused, he wouldn't be able to continue his career as a player. However, with all the bloodshed and bruises, if the woman forgives and is willing to stay together, hmm~ I don't really see it lasting long.

Now it's more appropriate to say that Greenwood is a player for Huddersfield. Returning to Manchester United would certainly be his best option, returning to a big club, both in terms of his career and commercially, have higher expectations. However, his current form and the potential pressure from public opinion after returning are both major concerns.

"Greenwood's strength and talent are actually quite impressive. At only 23 years old, he is approaching his peak period. Returning to Manchester United next season will undoubtedly bring immediate benefits to the team. With United likely to miss out on the Champions League next season, there might not be much money available for new signings. Therefore, Greenwood's return to the team is a positive development for both the club and the player.

In reality, there are still many men in the Western world with tendencies toward domestic violence, and some even have masochistic tendencies. So perhaps this was one of the reasons for their marriage. This woman may not have been entirely opposed to being mistreated and might have even derived pleasure from it, haha.

However, the woman made a mistake by exposing their domestic issues. This has ruined the promising career of a talented player. It's regrettable that his prime years have been wasted in such circumstances. Nevertheless, now that their family is living harmoniously together, Greenwood should face less social pressure. Hopefully, both of them will behave better in the future and lead a peaceful life. A player's professional career lasts only a few years, and if it doesn't pan out, it becomes a lifelong regret."

Domestic violence must be completely eradicated, regardless of the era or country. Violence should never be tolerated under any circumstances, especially for an athlete, let alone a public figure.
