In recent years, Barcelona has faced financial crisis, unable to buy star players, and forced to rely on young talents from their own academy to fill the gaps in their squad. Consequently, Barcelona has produced many talented young players such as Fati, Pedri, Gavi, and recently, Yamal. While these players possess exceptional talent, bearing heavy burdens prematurely has led to frequent injuries, prompting calls for Barcelona to reconsider their approach to utilizing young academy players.

In the Champions League Round of 16, Barcelona defeated Napoli, with young talents Yamal and Cubarsí shining. As a result, Barcelona has decided to promote Yamael and Cubarsí to the first team. However, the club's tendency to prioritize short-term success over the long-term development of young players may prove detrimental, potentially hindering the promising futures of these youngsters.

Yamal and Cubarsí are not the first talented youngsters to emerge from Barcelona's academy; players like Gavi, Pedri, and Fati have previously made their mark. However, due to Barcelona's financial constraints, these players have been overworked, leading to significant injury woes. Many fear that if Barcelona fails to learn from past mistakes, Yamael and Cubarsí could suffer the same fate.

The financial issues at Barcelona have not only impacted players but also affected the coach, Xavi. Despite struggling with a weakened squad due to transfer limitations, Xavi has managed to deliver results by relying on young talents. However, he has faced criticism from the media and fans, ultimately leading to his decision to resign at the end of the season.

Since Xavi's announcement of his departure, Barcelona's performance has notably improved, reaching the Champions League quarter-finals, meeting the minimum acceptable target for the season. Despite the improvement, Xavi remains steadfast in his decision to leave at the end of the season, regardless of whether they win the Champions League. This highlights the immense pressure faced by Barcelona, with players and coaches bearing burdens far beyond what they should endure due to financial constraints.

"Barcelona's youth academy has indeed been impressive, consistently producing various talented players over the years. However, truth be told, only a few of them truly make it to the top. Often, they shine brightly in their youth, displaying a regal demeanor on the pitch, but gradually fade into obscurity after a few years. For instance, there's Bojan from the past, and more recently, Fati. Bojan has already retired, while Fati, after inheriting Messi's number 10, has been loaned out. It seems highly unlikely for him to return to Camp Nou as the main protagonist.

Then there are cases of overuse like Gavi and Pedri. Both were young prodigies, with Pedri even winning the Golden Boy award. However, their current development hasn't lived up to expectations. Gavi is out for the season due to injury, and Pedri has been plagued by minor injuries, no longer displaying the vigor he had when he won the Golden Boy.

Currently, Yamal, at just 16 years old, has firmly secured a spot in Barcelona's starting lineup this season. Not only that, he has also been the one to turn the tide in several matches. He has a promising career ahead at Barcelona, but he's still very young. Playing so frequently at such a young age could be a physical challenge, especially considering his body might not be fully developed yet. If he continues at this rate and gets affected by injuries, it might lead to a premature end to his career, just like Gavi's season-ending leg injury, which serves as a cautionary example.

Therefore, it's hoped that Barcelona can give young players more rest and not overuse them. Gavi's season-ending injury is a stark reminder of the consequences of overuse."

Nowadays, talent is abundant, with most first-team squads having players under 18, but only a few fulfill their potential. After hitting 20, many still end up being 'average', albeit in comparison to professional players.

What is considered overuse? Without utilizing them, how can we truly know if they're exceptional?

Barcelona without Messi has shown considerable strength, especially in their attacking prowess. Previously, Messi was always hailed as the key, but after his departure, the team seemed lackluster. Now, Barcelona seems to be on the right track, with player wages being more balanced. Why should an overrated player demand such high wages? Back when Barcelona defeated PSG, the hero was Neymar, but he left Barcelona due to dissatisfaction. Now both PSG and Barcelona are doing well without Neymar, hoping for even greater success in the future!

Training is beneficial, but indeed, it shouldn't be excessive. Injuries can lead to endless troubles, and it's not worth the risk.

Barcelona now feels like it's lacking star players. The ones I knew, like Messi, Suarez, and even Iniesta, have all left. Neymar left too. I've naturally switched sides. I don't like Barcelona anymore...
