When it comes to football, Brazil is always on people's minds. As the only team in history to have won the World Cup five times, they've earned the nickname "Five-Star Brazil." However, in recent years, their decline has been noticeable. Despite still boasting many talented players like Vinicius, Rodrygo, and the previous generation's superstar Neymar, Brazil's overall level seems to have regressed. The main issue lies in their lack of a strong center-forward.

Brazil's number 9 center-forward has always been a unique presence in the world, with legends like Ronaldo and Romário. However, in recent years, despite Neymar supporting Brazil as their sole superstar, along with players like Vinicius and Rodrygo, Brazil's World Cup performances continue to disappoint. The performances of forwards Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison haven't matched those of their predecessors.

Recently, in two international friendly matches, glimpses of hope were seen in Brazil's young players. For example, the 18-year-old Endrick, who is set to join Real Madrid, scored the winning goal in his national team debut, against England, and helped the team draw against Belgium in the second match, showcasing an impressive performance.

Endrick was a young talent that Real Madrid spent a lot of money to acquire when he was 16 years old, still playing in Brazil at that time. According to Brazilian media reports, many regard him as the "New Ronaldo.'' Endrick has already demonstrated outstanding attacking talent and has shown the potential to become a top striker, being touted as the flag bearer of Brazil's future frontline. While Enrico has proven himself in his debut, many fans advise against putting too much pressure on him, as we've seen many talented players crumble under such expectations. Therefore, it's essential for players to grow in a normal environment, without undue pressure.

Do you think Endrick will shoulder the responsibility of being Brazil's new flag bearer for the next generation?

Whether Endrick will be the future center-forward remains to be seen, but it looks promising!

The old Brazil team is so different from the current one. I remember the old Brazil team was ferocious.

As a football kingdom, Brazil's talent development rate over the past decade has been pitifully low. Over ten years ago, the Brazilian team was filled with superstars, there were several potential kings like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Kaka. However, ten years later, the only superstar that stands out is Neymar, and even then, he hasn't achieved much in terms of national or personal honors. The football kingdom has truly weakened. Even the likes of Vinicius Junior can only be considered a star and not someone who can lead the Brazilian team. Brazil really needs a super genius. Initially, Endrick was quite popular, but after he was signed by Real Madrid, the Brazilian teams he played for didn't give him many opportunities, which made it seem like his development had stagnated. However, in the recent Brazilian league season, Palmeiras unexpectedly won the league title, largely due to Endrick's performance, which brought him back into the limelight. Initially thought to be a flop at Real Madrid, this young man has proven to be quite strong. However, he still has a long way to go to reach Neymar's level from years ago. Fortunately, he is still young, and hopefully, after joining Real Madrid this summer, he will continue to perform well and not lose himself in the big club environment. Perhaps the reason why Real Madrid hasn't bought a powerful center forward in the past two years is because of this young man. He might indeed have great potential. Let's see how he performs in the La Liga next season.

South America is truly a place that produces football geniuses, especially Brazil and Argentina. I must say, the football atmosphere there is really great. I envy it so much!

I really don't know many Brazilian football players anymore. I used to remember a series of superstars like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Kaka, and others. Now, besides Neymar, who doesn't even play, I don't know any other players. Has Brazilian football really fallen into decline? Sigh.....

Every year, there's talk of a new Pele, a new Maradona, a new Ronaldo, but is there really no other reason for the hype? After years of hype, even Neymar ended up being reduced to a tool of capitalism, giving rise to the artificial soccer king. Now, they're starting to hype up Endrick. Can't they just let this young man play football properly? Don't let external factors interfere with him. Young people are most afraid of being labeled by the outside world, which can affect their ability to play without worries. I particularly dislike it when my superiors label me or give me titles, as if I must achieve a certain level of success after receiving a title. However, only I know my own abilities, and I cannot let these externally imposed expectations distract me. This kind of pressure is significant for young people. Young man, don't mind the distractions from the outside world. Just focus on playing football well. Regardless of how high your achievements may be, they are the result of your hard work. Don't compare yourself to idols, it will only exhaust you!!

Although there were goals in both friendly matches, the on-field performance and dominance were average at best. Ultimately, we'll have to wait until they compete in Europe and undergo the test of league matches to truly determine his quality. Brazil has never lacked footballing talents, but fulfilling that potential and reaching the top level is never easy.
