Have you all heard? In a recent match, Cristiano Ronaldo represented Al-Nassr against Al-Hilal in an intense showdown. However, amidst the heated game, Ronaldo received a red card! In response, both Ronaldo and the Al-Nassr club issued statements claiming that the decision to send off Ronaldo in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final was unjust.

The referee stated in the report, "Ronaldo excessively elbowed Al-Hilal player Bulaihi, which is shameful behavior," and showed Ronaldo a red card! This action by Ronaldo could lead to a two-match suspension. However, the Al-Nassr board has contested the decision made by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) Disciplinary and Ethical Committee regarding Ronaldo's red card in the semi-final.

They believe that the red card "should not" have been issued and strongly assert that Ronaldo did not exhibit "shameful behavior." The club argues on Ronaldo's behalf, stating that his actions were only to regain possession of the ball and to try to continue the game quickly. Ronaldo himself explained the incident, admitting to elbowing his opponent during the match but emphasizing that it was due to the opponent obstructing him from taking a quick free-kick.

Although the match referee Huaishin noted in his post-match report that Ronaldo's elbowing of defender Ali Bulaihi was "shameful," both Al-Nassr Club and Ronaldo have denied these allegations and are now awaiting an official announcement expected to be released by SAFF later this week. In future matches, Ronaldo's Al-Nassr will face Al-Fayha on April 19th in the Saudi Professional League, followed by a match against Al-Khaleej on April 28th. These two matches are crucial for Ronaldo and Al-Nassr, as they will strive for victory. However, if Ronaldo's actions are ultimately deemed "shameful," he will face a two-match suspension and a fine of 20,000 Riyals.

From the surface of the photos, some may think Ronaldo is being a thug, elbowing opponents and being red-carded while also gesturing aggressively towards the referee! Little do they know, it is said that Ronaldo's elbowing opponent Ali Bulaihi is actually a 'troublemaker'. Moreover, according to Ronaldo's explanation, Ronaldo wanted to take a free-kick but the opponent continuously hindered him, leading to this action. Perhaps he reached his limit and became frustrated... Well, maybe there's another side to the story. Let me know what you think below! Feel free to leave a comment on your take on this matter!

After all, since the truth of the matter and both parties' perspectives differ, it's also challenging for us to judge.

This match was for the Saudi Super Cup. At that time, Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo played, was two goals behind Al-Hilal. Given Ronaldo's never-say-die attitude, he surely wanted to score and level the game. So, it's understandable that he was striving for possession of the ball. And for Al-Hilal, delaying the game was also a strategy. If this hadn't happened to Ronaldo, it wouldn't have been such a big deal. It's Ronaldo's high profile that escalated the situation. Moreover, it seemed like Al-Hilal wanted to provoke Ronaldo, making him uncomfortable. Eventually, Al-Hilal won the Saudi Super Cup, not only getting Ronaldo sent off but also clinching the victory. This season has been successful for Al-Hilal. They are currently leading the league by 12 points with 7 rounds remaining, so they're likely to win the Saudi league title. It's understandable why Ronaldo acted impulsively. However, it's unnecessary. After all, the Saudi league is just for entertainment. It's an opportunity for Ronaldo to adjust his body and mindset during his suspension. After all, there's the European Championship in June, which is crucial for Ronaldo. He needs to focus on preparing himself physically and mentally to strive for another European Championship title.

Cristiano Ronaldo's temper is indeed explosive. This isn't the first time, he just can't tolerate any slight. It's his natural disposition, unable to control his temper.

Today, I'm not trying to take sides with Ronaldo. Let's just look at Bulaihi's consistent behavior. Bulaihi's playing style has always been dirty, often resorting to physical attacks and insults on the field, as well as provocation. Such behavior is unacceptable regardless of the player. Zinedine Zidane, who everyone knows, has experienced it all, winning the Ballon d'Or, World Cup, European Championship, Champions League, and league titles. He's considered a complete player, and his character is also gentle. However, in the 2006 World Cup, faced with Materazzi's provocation, he couldn't help but use his head to attack his chest. Materazzi is known for his big mouth. If I were Zidane, I would have directly confronted him and shut his foul mouth with my fists. Moreover, Bulaihi doesn't get along well with his teammates, often causing trouble. He's often late for training, doesn't follow the nutritionist's diet plan, and sometimes leaves training early without reason. He's also a frequent visitor to nightclubs. I heard that after a night with a hostess, he refused to pay and was taken to court. With such a scumbag provoking Ronaldo on the field, I think elbowing him was the most polite and civilized behavior. Such players who deserve to be disciplined by the football association should have relevant laws enacted against them.

So, what Al-Hilal did was a tactic, and Cristiano Ronaldo fell for it... It's said that Ali Bulaihi also once provoked Messi.

This is actually quite normal. Cristiano Ronaldo himself has a fiery temper, and opposing players are also adept at playing mind games. It can only be said that Ronaldo ended up at a disadvantage this time.
