One mountain cannot hide two tigers, and it's shocking when both tigers leave the mountain simultaneously. Recently, German football powerhouse Borussia Dortmund has experienced a major shake-up. The team's head coach, Terzic, announced his resignation, and longtime player Hummels also declared he won't renew his contract and will leave. These two happen to be at the core of the internal strife within Dortmund!

This season, despite reaching the Champions League final, Dortmund disappointed in the league, finishing fifth, worse than previous years. The poor performance triggered negative repercussions, with Hummels, who has been with the team for 14 years, clashing repeatedly with coach Terzic. The main issues were Hummels questioning Terzic's selections and tactical choices, which led to the team's downfall.

Although Dortmund's unexpected journey to the Champions League final temporarily bridged their differences, the "Daily Mail" reported that Hummels and Terzic didn't wait until after the final. On the night before the final, they had a "violent confrontation," leading to a complete rupture. It's said that only one of them will remain next season.

Surprisingly, Terzic announced his resignation after the Champions League concluded, deciding not to coach the team next season. Subsequently, Hummels also announced he won't renew his contract with Dortmund. The departure of these two figures who contributed to the team's troubled atmosphere caught many off guard. Dortmund is likely to enter a period of turmoil, but as a Bundesliga powerhouse, they are expected to weather this storm.

A head coach and star player of a top-tier team not getting along and even fighting just before a crucial match—this surely has more impact than winning a championship! If I were the boss, I would fire them regardless of how important they are to the team. Engaging in such behavior before an important competition shows a lack of perspective and reveals their exceptionally poor character.

Such individuals should just get out of here, far away!

Internal misunderstandings left unresolved really affect team morale, such things absolutely need to be avoided within a team.

Dortmund has really been coasting these past few years, they've lost the drive they had over a decade ago to compete with Bayern. Last season, they had a great chance to win the title, needing just a win in the final match to clinch it, but this darn Dortmund team dared to hand the championship right back to Bayern. No Dortmund fan respects them anymore after that. This season's performance continues to be lackluster. Watching Leverkusen make history and knock Bayern off their pedestal, while Dortmund languishes in fifth place in the league, shows their decline. If not for the Champions League expansion, Dortmund wouldn't even qualify next season. Surprisingly, Dortmund made it close to the Champions League final. Luck played a role, but for a team without much spirit, it's still a miracle. Of course, Dortmund's miracle didn't quite happen as they were soundly beaten by Real Madrid in the final, which was expected. Next season, Dortmund will change coaches, and leaders like Reus and Hummels are leaving. I think Dortmund will struggle to achieve good results, the team lacks ambition and won't spend money on good players this summer. The new coach, 35-year-old Şahin, is inexperienced... he might lead Dortmund to rock bottom. Despite being 35, Hummels still has ambition to win, hence the clashes with the coach. Returning to Dortmund, he must have seen the team's true nature. Leaving was probably about not wanting to deal with frustration and perhaps earning more money in Saudi Arabia. I think it's a good decision for Hummels.

Having disruptive elements in a team is very detrimental to overall management because a team functions as a whole. If conflicts arise, the damage caused is definitely not isolated to just one person but affects the entire team.

Dortmund becoming a Bundesliga powerhouse, when did that happen? Back when Klopp was around, Dortmund was so glorious. Now, Dortmund has really declined. Just look at their ability to nurture stars in recent years, it's much weaker compared to Klopp's time. Even their recent success is built on Klopp's earlier work in youth development. Eight years have passed, and Klopp has left a trail of miracles and honors at Liverpool, winning trophies. What has Dortmund achieved?

Hummels is truly a bad influence. Back when he was at Dortmund, he was dissatisfied and constantly agitating for transfers, believing in his own ability and wanting to join Bayern. He even went as far as staging a strike. Did he really think he could challenge someone like Boateng at Bayern? The result was clear: he patched things up and ran back to Dortmund. But in just a few years, he's causing trouble again. He seems naturally rebellious, always thinking he's great, but ends up disappointing. You can't put your own interests above the team's, especially seen in the Champions League final, where he played like crap. Everyone knows you clashed with the coach, the unity seen was just a facade. Such selfishness is unacceptable. Personally, I don't like selfish people like Hummels. There are so many loyal players on the team, like Reus, he should learn from them. Always wanting to be the big shot, but does he really have what it takes? Now the team has collapsed in the Champions League final and is fifth in the league. Without Champions League next season, it's all for nothing!
