In the lives of many, have you ever encountered people who, when deciding to do something, always inquire about how to navigate this path from those around them? Is this path easy or difficult to traverse? Does it have a future? It's like when we choose a career, we often ask others if this path is viable. Asking the right person might lead to constructive advice, but asking the wrong person could only result in poor guidance. Yet, ironically, many of us tend to seek advice from those who lack expertise.
Take entrepreneurship as an example. Before you start a business, asking someone who has never ventured into entrepreneurship yields what kind of answers? "It's impossible," "Entrepreneurship is easier said than done," "You might end up losing everything; why not just work a regular job?" If you heed such advice, you might miss out on a chance for success.
The same applies to gambling. From childhood, we are taught that gambling is bad. Those who want to get involved in gambling ask people who have never gambled. How can they provide any meaningful advice? If you want to know, ask someone who has experience with gambling to get constructive suggestions, whether you choose to gamble or not. However, once you decide to take the path of gambling, don't inquire about how long it will take because there is no fixed timeline. |
