Akash Chopra, former Opener and Commentator expressed his views on Jaiswal's performance in first inining of second test match against England at Visakhapatnam Aakash Chopra was all praise for him in his latest YouTube video. He said that Jaiswal is a master of turning his fifties into hundreds and has a better conversion rate than the great Don Bradman. He said: "Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star of the show. He batted superbly. He left Anderson alone and respected his bowling. “But when the spinners came on, he attacked them from the first over. He showed his class and why he is so special. Among the players who have scored 10 or more centuries in first-class cricket, he has the highest conversion rate of fifties into hundreds, even higher than Sir Don Bradman at this moment.” Aakash Chopra also contrasted Jaiswal’s performance with the rest of the Indian batting and lauded him for adapting to the conditions. "Yashasvi is living up to his name. He proves every time that he is a star. He is on 179 not out while the next best is not even 40. He is carrying the Indian team on his shoulders. “He showed how to play spin on a typical Indian pitch. It is not a bad pitch, there is not much turn for the spinners, at least on Day 1. He played the full balls with force and was not afraid to go aerial. He reached his hundred with a six.” It is worth noting that Yashasvi Jaiswal has a conversion rate of 73.33%, which is the best among the batsmen who have scored at least 10 centuries in first-class cricket.
