What a show by Yashasvi Jaiswal! He smashed his first Test double hundred against England in Visakhapatnam. He joined the legends Sunil Gavaskar and Vinod Kambli in the exclusive club of Indian double centurions. Jaiswal started the second day on 179 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. He took only eight overs to get to the double hundred. He played a lone hand for India as wickets kept falling at the other end. Yashasvi Jaiswal is the 3rd youngest Indian to score a Test double hundred He got to his double hundred in style on the second ball of the 102nd over. He showed his aggression from the first ball of the over and hit Shoaib Bashir for a six over midwicket. He followed it up with a four to reach the landmark. He became the third youngest Indian to score a double hundred in Test cricket, after Vinod Kambli and Sunil Gavaskar. He went past former Indian skipper Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who did it at 23 years and 34 days. Vinod Kambli is the youngest Indian to score a Test double hundred. He did it at 21 years and 32 days against England at Wankhede Stadium on February 19, 1993. Sunil Gavaskar did it at 21 years and 277 days
