Hi everyone! Have you noticed that recently many head coaches have announced the end of their coaching careers in succession?

I personally found it very shocking to see Liverpool's head coach Klopp and Barcelona's Xavi announce their departures one after another. The first surprise is that I never thought these two would leave, as their positions in the teams were very stable. Apart from poor performance, it's unlikely for them to be dismissed by the clubs. We all know that usually, it's the clubs that fire coaches, and it's rare for coaches to 'fire' themselves. This shows how secure the positions of Klopp and Xavi were in their respective teams.

However, Klopp and Xavi actually decided to leave on their own, which might seem shocking at first, but upon closer inspection, it's not that strange. The main reason is that there are indeed very few coaches who can coach a team for as long as Klopp did, spanning 9 years. Leaving after coaching for three years, like Xavi did, is more common. Football is evolving rapidly, and cases like Manchester United's Ferguson or Arsenal's Wenger, coaching a team for twenty years, are unlikely to happen again.

Moreover, the pressure on team coaches is immense. While it might be manageable when you are young, as you age, your ability to handle pressure decreases. Football is results-oriented, and age doesn't matter much in the football world. Add to that the constant media scrutiny, and even younger individuals might struggle. Look at Klopp, who coached Liverpool for almost ten years; if you compare photos of him from ten years ago to now, he doesn't just look ten years older but more like twenty. Therefore, leaving for the sake of physical and mental health is a reasonable decision. Energy is a depletable resource.

Even though losing Klopp (La Liga won't miss Harvey, haha) would be a loss, I hope Klopp takes a good rest and eventually returns to coaching. However, I hope he doesn't come back to the Premier League. I cannot support you at Liverpool, but if you go to another team, I genuinely think I will support you. Goodbye, Klopp!

Being a coach is tough, and players don't have it easy either. In the end, it's the results that matter.

I also feel that the pressure on coaches is too much, to the extent that even hair won't grow. Look at Manchester United... look at Manchester City. Although they still look handsome, I have indeed doubted whether stress leads to losing hair.

If someone decides to leave because they are not happy with the situation, it's understandable. Leaving is a choice.
