Australia’s Beth Mooney has improved her position in the ICC Women’s ODI Batter Rankings after her brilliant performance against South Africa. Mooney is now close to becoming the number-one batter in both white-ball formats of the game.
Mooney recently became the top-ranked batter in T20Is, overtaking her Australian colleague Tahlia McGrath. The left-hander also climbed to the third spot in the ODI batter rankings. England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt is still at the top of the rankings. Australia also had some good news in the ODI bowling rankings. Ash Gardner rose two places to fourth after her economical spell. Kim Garth’s match-winning performance earned her a four-place rise, putting her in 38th position after taking two wickets. England’s Sophie Ecclestone continues to dominate the ICC ODI bowling rankings. Australia’s Megan Schutt is in second place, and Deepti Sharma is in third. England’s Sophie Ecclestone also maintained her top spot in the T20I bowler rankings, followed by India’s Deepti Sharma and Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal. The West Indies’ Hayley Matthews remained the top all-rounder, with New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr in second place.
