just came across an interesting statement by Finch on ESPN. He said that Kohli has been playing on some low-quality pitches in the past few years, which has affected his Test stats. He said that if Kohli had played on better wickets, his Test numbers would be much higher. Finch also supported the idea of cutting down ODIs to 40 overs. He said that 50 overs make ODIs too boring and slow and that 40 overs would make them more exciting and appealing to the viewers. Kohli is not playing in the IND vs ENG Test series, as he is taking a break for personal reasons. He is expecting his second child and has not informed BCCI when he will be back. His last appearance was in the IND vs AFG T20I series last month.
