Aakash Chopra, the former India cricketer and expert analyst, said that Sarfaraz Khan, the untested middle-order batsman, might get his first chance to play for India in the 3rd Test against England, which begins on Thursday, February 15th. Aakash Chopra also said that this would only happen if KL Rahul fails to recover from a minor Quadriceps injury that he got in the 1st Test in Hyderabad. In his latest YouTube video, Chopra said that KL Rahul should be back in the XI as soon as possible as he only had a small injury and he is not a wicket-keeper batsman but a specialist batter. Aakash Chopra thinks that Sarfaraz Khan can only make his Test debut if KL Rahul is not fit, which is a toss-up right now. The 31-year-old is not easy to replace as he has a lot of experience in Test cricket and dropping him from the team could make the Indian side less experienced. If the team management decides to give Sarfaraz Khan Sarfaraz Khan a chance, they should not expect him to perform right away even though he has a remarkable First class average for Mumbai. He recently did well for India A with scores of 96, 4, 55, and 161 in the 3 unofficial Test matches against England Lions.
