When it comes to Chelsea's performance over the past two seasons, fans' first impression is often characterized by lavish spending yielding poor results. Despite changing numerous coaches and acquiring many star players, there has been little improvement. It's unclear whether the issue lies with the coaches, players, or the owner. Due to the team's poor performance, some of the high-priced players acquired are now requesting to leave.

Since taking over Chelsea, current owner Boehly has implemented extensive reforms, selling off most of the old players and making significant investments in new ones. However, these investments haven't translated into more trophies for Chelsea. On the contrary, the team's performance has worsened, with a 10th-place finish last season and currently sitting at 11th place this season, with fewer points than the previous season.

The chain reaction caused by the poor team performance is evident. The Argentine midfielder, Enzo, who was signed for £120 million, is considering a transfer, while other players like the £100 million winger, Mudryk, are seeking loan moves. However, Chelsea has rejected their requests as both players are under 9-year contracts. Chelsea is reluctant to let their investments go to waste, and they hold the upper hand in negotiations, making it difficult for Enzo and Mudryk to transfer.

Additionally, Chelsea fans deeply miss former owner Abramovich and express their nostalgia for him at home matches. It's uncertain how Boehly feels about this situation. Despite investing heavily, Boehly's poor management and scouting decisions have contributed to the current predicament. It's unclear when this dire situation will end, but Chelsea fans may have to endure it for a while longer.

Since Abramovich was sanctioned and Chelsea changed ownership, they've been buying players haphazardly, spending a lot of money, and their performance has worsened.

For the past two seasons, I've been hesitant to bet on Chelsea matches because their performance has been so unpredictable. They can surprise you with unexpected victories, but just when you think they're doing well, they inexplicably lose to lower-ranked teams. There's a saying among fans: "Cherish life, stay away from Chelsea games."

It feels like there are a lot of Premier League big spenders, but often the high-priced acquisitions fail to meet expectations. It's not just Chelsea; many other top clubs face the same issue. Buying players sometimes feels like buying lottery tickets—it requires luck.

Chelsea has really been affected by the change in ownership. With the situation between Russia and Ukraine, Abramovich had to step down. Enzo arrived at Chelsea with a high reputation, and fans saw him as a savior, hoping he would lead the team back to its peak as the midfield core. However, the reality has been disappointing. Chelsea's performance remains poor, and Enzo hasn't shown why he was considered top-tier. Given the current situation, it's unlikely any team would pay more than Chelsea did for Enzo. With Chelsea unlikely to qualify for the Champions League this season, the team's appeal to top players has decreased. It's improbable that they'll sell the high-priced players they brought in. The most likely scenario is they'll wait it out, hoping for an improvement in results or for Enzo's performance to improve. Enzo's attitude is also questionable. Should he follow Messi's example and avoid facing problems instead of solving them? After all, Chelsea paid a hefty price for him. It's not fair to the team or the fans if he wants to leave after just one year, especially during difficult times. It seems that Argentine players lack resilience; at the first sign of trouble, they want to escape.

Chelsea's current owner, Boehly, seems to need to carefully devise strategies; if things continue this way, both players and coaches might leave, which wouldn't be good.

Enzo shouldn't have trouble finding a new club, but his price tag is too high; it's hard to find a team willing to pay that much. I think the only club in Europe willing to pay such a high price tag is probably Paris Saint-Germain.
