For Mourinho, being sacked by Roma before the contract ended must have been particularly hard to accept. Perhaps feeling down after the dismissal, he didn't offer many opinions on leaving Roma. But over time, Mourinho finally spoke about his recent situation and lightly criticized his former club.

During an interview with Pulsesports reporters, Mourinho, unlike someone who was fired, confidently talked about Roma, believing he played a key role in their reaching the knockout stages of European competition this season. He stated that without his efforts, Roma wouldn't have achieved such results. This statement is valid since Mourinho indeed helped Roma win European titles.

Later, Mourinho mentioned that his mindset is similar to before, although he's become gentler. He doesn't believe he's too old to coach, as some say, but rather feels that records are chasing him instead of him chasing records. He expressed that it's not him competing with others; it's the competition seeking him out.

As for his future coaching prospects, Mourinho affirmed that he will return. He said, "Life is full of twists and turns. Despite unexpected and unfair dismissals, I'm still growing. I will come back, with more passion and confidence, to participate in these European competitions." It's been a while since Mourinho coached a top club, but perhaps one day we'll see him back on the mainstream stage. After all, without Mourinho, the world of football would certainly be less enjoyable.

It seems Mourinho will take a break for a while before gradually seeking opportunities elsewhere.

Mourinho has indeed aged. He's not as vigorous as he was 20 years ago, nor as hot as he was 10 years ago. The dressing room issues have been bothering Mourinho for many years. However, Mourinho still refuses to admit he's old. Otherwise, he would have accepted the high salary from Saudi Arabia to retire. At the moment, major clubs probably won't invite Mourinho to coach. After coaching a small club like Roma for three years, I don't think Mourinho will continue to stoop to coaching at small clubs. After all, he must have had enough of a life without good players or money to buy players. At the moment, I think the national team would be more suitable for Mourinho. His coaching style is more suitable for cup competitions. Winning the UEFA Cup and finishing as runner-up in the UEFA Europa League with Roma also proves Mourinho's prowess in cup competitions. The European Championship is about to start this year. If a team performs poorly, the head coach will inevitably be fired. Uncle Bird will also have the opportunity to take over. In the national team, there are only one or two matches every month, so Mourinho doesn't have to face the players every day. This way, it's also more useful for maintaining harmony in the dressing room. At the moment, I think there are two national teams that are quite suitable for Mourinho. One is the England national team. England is strong, but hasn't achieved much in recent years, and the country doesn't have outstanding coaches. If they continue to perform averagely in this European Championship, choosing Mourinho might be a good option. Another one is the Portugal national team. Mourinho himself is Portuguese, so representing the country is also one of his dreams.

Life may torment me a thousand times, yet I embrace it as if deeply in love! This line seems fitting to describe Mourinho. After all, someone who loves life wouldn't be bothered by setbacks in life or career. No matter what, he will continue to love life wholeheartedly, earnestly pursuing his endeavors without succumbing to despair. Personally, I admire Mourinho's mindset. With such a positive attitude, I believe he will achieve even greater success.

Mourinho is only 61 years old, which isn't considered very old among top coaches.
