Liverpool has had an outstanding season, contending for titles in both the Premier League and Europa League. However, recent setbacks in both competitions have raised concerns about their form. After consecutive losses, some wonder if Liverpool is truly faltering. Does a Europa League defeat necessarily impact their Premier League momentum?

Facing Atalanta midweek at Anfield, many anticipated a classic Liverpool victory. Instead, the visitors stunned with a 3-0 win, leaving everyone in disbelief. Post-match, questions arose: is this the beginning of the end for Liverpool?

With recent exits from the FA Cup and a slip to second place in the Premier League after drawing with Manchester United, critics suggest injuries have left Liverpool weakened. Many foresee impending collapse. However, Liverpool legend Souness disagrees. He sees elimination from the Europa League as a blessing, as winning the trophy wouldn't trigger wild celebrations like a Premier League title would.

While conceding the loss to Atalanta was a heavy blow, Souness hopes it won't further dent Liverpool's confidence. Winning the Premier League and bidding farewell to Klopp should be the focus. He believes Liverpool's strength and spirit will prevail, especially in challenging times. The race for the Premier League title remains open, and Liverpool might not fall behind after all.

It's true that the Europa League may not hold as much value, and if Liverpool had to choose between the Premier League and Europa League, I believe 100% of Liverpool fans would opt for the Premier League title. However, I don't think Liverpool actively surrendered in this game. Klopp is a determined individual, and I doubt he would willingly forfeit any championship. While the Europa League may not hold as much prestige, it's still a European title, and knowing Klopp's character, he would desire any trophy. Additionally, all the key players who should have played did so. Even though Salah didn't start, he came on as a substitute early in the second half. However, Liverpool still conceded two goals in the second half. It seems that in this match, Liverpool genuinely couldn't keep up. Perhaps they were out of form, fatigued, or the players didn't prioritize winning the Europa League. At present, it's highly likely that Liverpool will be eliminated from the competition. However, this could work in their favor for the Premier League title race. Arsenal and Manchester City also have to focus on the Champions League matches, whereas Liverpool can concentrate solely on the Premier League. If they can win their upcoming matches, then the Premier League title is likely theirs. With Liverpool's strength and everyone wanting Klopp to leave on a high note, I believe it's safe to declare Liverpool as this season's Premier League champions after this game.

Could Liverpool be trying to conserve some energy for the Premier League? After all, others are contending for the Champions League.

If you can't even win in the Europa League, let alone the Champions League, real champions face every match with earnest determination!

Liverpool being held to a draw by the recently struggling Manchester United shows that Liverpool's form isn't quite stable either...

Not only a loss in the Europa League, but also in the league now. What's going on? Is this also 'insignificant'?

It's not about the Reds being at their weakest, but rather the natural rise and fall of a team. Sustaining peak performance for an extended period is unlikely, as a team requires a balanced system across all areas of the field. Sometimes, despite a strong attack, a weak defense can lead to a trophy-less season. Conversely, a strong defense can't compensate for a lack of goals upfront.

With Klopp preparing to leave Liverpool, he's also leaving behind a squad capable of winning titles, which is his greatest contribution. Just like Mourinho's departure from Real Madrid, leaving Zidane and Ancelotti with a squad that won five titles in four years, creating a memorable legacy. Mourinho also left Conte with a title-winning squad at Chelsea, leading them to win the league in the second year.

To be honest, Liverpool's football culture seems to have been surpassed by the current form. Some friends say Liverpool is at its weakest, but I see it more as an old, rusty crossbow, and not the effective kind. It's time for them to part ways and move on. Saying this might offend many, but just look at Liverpool's recent results. Can they still be considered a Premier League powerhouse? It's laughable!
