Have you heard? The crypto gambling platform ZKasino recently stirred up some big commotion. Some say it's like a rug pull, leaving people worried. Initially, they launched a bonus campaign, promising their own token $ZKAS for bridging ETH, which attracted over ten thousand participants and collected over 10,500 ETH, worth nearly $32 million.
However, here's the problem. Someone used the Wayback Machine to check back to April 18th and found that a sentence on their bridging website suddenly disappeared. Originally, it stated, "Ethereum will be returned and can be bridged back," but now, accessing it shows a different scene. This immediately raised suspicions in the community about what the project team was up to. Moreover, their Telegram group admins have banned users from speaking, and the official account hasn't been updated since the 16th. This has made users even more dissatisfied and panicked.
Community members have started leaving comments under the official post from the 16th: "Is this token a scam? Why haven't I received the reward? My ETH is still locked!" "When can we get back our ETH? Issue a statement; is this a scam? Why is nobody responding?" Some even directly asked, "Where did my ETH go?" A well-known airdrop hunter named Hebi has become popular, desperately trying to contact the project team. He responded to a little clue provided by netizens, asking, "Tim Hu, how are you now? You said you were one of the founders and recently met with the project team in Dubai. We all have your WeChat, so what's going on now?"
Previously, ZigZag from the zkSync DEX project accused the ZKasino team of fraud. He claimed that the initial funds of ZKasino were originally theirs but were misappropriated. They said they would withdraw funds to pay the ZigZag front-end developer but actually used part of it to build ZKasino. In short, the ZKasino team has been accused of owing money or defrauding many people, including former employees and contractors. |
