After losing to Manchester City with a score of 0-1 in the FA Cup semi-final, Chelsea's chances of winning any titles this season are gone. Considering the significant investments made in the past two years, such results are unacceptable. The team has failed to live up to its value and lacks harmony internally. To return to the top, Chelsea has a long way to go.

Chelsea spent £460 million in the summer transfer window last year to strengthen the squad, setting a new record in football history. However, these investments have not paid off. Currently, Chelsea ranks 9th in the league with 47 points, similar to last season's performance, and has been eliminated from all domestic competitions. It's been a disappointing season overall.

Moreover, internal harmony is lacking at Chelsea. Even in the recent 6-0 victory over Everton, there was disharmony as three players argued over a penalty. Coach Mauricio Pochettino expressed dissatisfaction with the incident, warning that similar behavior would result in immediate substitutions in the future.

Chelsea is no longer a strong team, and internal harmony is lacking. With high-priced, young players, it's difficult to identify a leader. Even the coach, Mauricio Pochettino, may not fit the role of spiritual leader for the team. With older players like Thiago Silva's contract expiring soon, it's uncertain who will step up. Chelsea urgently needs to find a new leader to get back on track.

It's not easy to find a spiritual leader. Even Chelsea's own youth academy hasn't produced many. Individually, the players in the squad look good, but as a team, it feels like they've been put together at the last minute.

Without a coach with enough courage, Chelsea is just a pile of mud. It's unlikely to change. It can be said that Chelsea is rotten from head to toe, rotten to the core. If it's not replanted, I believe only withered results await. So, reform from the top is inevitable.

Chelsea's lavish spending not yielding the desired results might signal a need to reassess their strategies with these players.

My beloved Chelsea, what has happened to you in recent years? Back in the day, with captain Terry, midfielder Lampard, defensive midfielder Makelele, and goalkeeper Cech, the team was glorious and honorable. Do you remember the 2012 Champions League? The team was on the brink of defeat, but every player never spoke of giving up. Instead, they silently stood their ground, guarding their duties. When Drogba's punch sealed the victory, all the grievances and anger were vented. Even entering the penalty shootout, Bayern Munich fans were already anxious, and their players knew they were doomed because Chelsea was their nemesis on the road to victory. With everyone united, they fought to the end and lifted the trophy. And it didn't end there. In the following 2014 season, they won the league title, and in the 2021 season, they lifted the Champions League trophy again.

Now, Chelsea really lacks a leader, whether it's Terry in 2006 or Lampard in 2012, their leadership qualities were powerful. Facing the current Manchester City, it should have been the best chance to achieve results. With City stretched thin across multiple fronts, facing an exhausted opponent, it should have been easy to achieve success. The FA Cup should have been the only trophy Chelsea could have won this season, but they didn't seize it. Despite spending so much money to strengthen the squad, they didn't get value for money, nor did they show the side of the team that fans expect. It's time for some self-reflection and introspection. Let's aim to win a trophy next season.

At this point, all we can hope for is to secure a Champions League spot! As for anything else, we probably shouldn't hold our breath. Let's just aim for mediocrity. Let's work hard for next season. This season has been a mess, but it doesn't matter anymore.

It feels like Manchester United is in a similar boat. If anything, their situation is even more exaggerated. A complete overhaul would be best......
