According to Western media outlet Relevo, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now 39 years old, has expressed his desire to become a creator of World Cup history this year. He hopes to become the first and only player in history to participate in six World Cups.
Clearly, Ronaldo is not willing to be left behind. He aims to challenge and surpass records! While Portugal may face challenges in winning the World Cup, Ronaldo hopes to leave his mark in the annals of World Cup history in a different way, which aligns perfectly with his personality. Of course, Ronaldo may also want to show the world's fans his spirit of continuously pushing limits, self-challenge, and self-transcendence.
If Ronaldo indeed participates in the next World Cup, he will be playing at the age of 41, breaking a series of records and possibly ending some records as well. Perhaps Ronaldo cares about these records, or perhaps he doesn't, but one thing is certain: Ronaldo has always wanted to be admired by others. |
