On September 13th, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker tweeted an update. Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma had tweeted that the US men's basketball team needs to bring in some stars who know how to take on roles, like accepting defensive responsibilities and playing off the ball on offense.

Booker retweeted Kuzma's tweet and wrote, "I'll do it."
Booker had previously represented the US men's basketball team in winning the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
