Everyone has their own set of habits when it comes to gaming, but regardless of the strategy used, it should be accompanied by a good betting system.
Today, I'll talk about some common betting methods:
1. Flat Betting:
Broadly speaking, betting methods should include flat betting. Personally, I prefer flat betting because it feels stable with low risk, making it easier to maintain a calm and composed mindset, reducing the chances of making mistakes. With the right betting strategy, flat betting can help maintain patience and discipline. However, it may not be suitable for extended periods of play.
2. Martingale:
In its narrow sense, Martingale involves doubling your bet on the next hand after a loss. An improved Martingale strategy involves waiting patiently for the right entry point after a win before doubling your original bet. This betting method can yield quick profits, but I recommend stopping after a couple of wins to avoid potential losses.
3. Value Betting:
There are two types of value betting: conservative and aggressive. In the first type, when you lose a hand, you double your bet on the next one. If you lose again, you double it again, and so on. The second type follows a pattern like 1-3-7-14 and so on. However, this approach carries higher risk and requires careful consideration of the game's progression. It can be mentally challenging and requires a larger bankroll to withstand significant ups and downs.
4. Staircase Betting:
There are two variations of staircase betting. The first is profit up, loss down where you increase your bet by a fixed percentage after each win and revert to a lower level after each loss. For example, if you set the increase rate at 30%, you might bet 100 on the first hand, then 130 on the second if you win, and so on. If you lose, you go back to 100 or 130. This method can be profitable when you have a winning streak but risky if you alternate between wins and losses.
The second variation is profit down, loss up, where you increase your bet after each loss and decrease it after each win. This approach is considered better as it allows for more flexibility and can help capture winning streaks.
5. Mixed Variations:
These are combinations of the above methods, such as the Double Dragon,Three-Color Betting,Four-Color Betting, and various numerical patterns. The key characteristics of these methods remain consistent, but they offer different variations for betting.
In summary, these are basic patterns of betting methods. From these patterns, numerous variations can be derived, but the fundamental characteristics of betting methods remain the same. Some methods may lead to confusion and increased chances of error, while others align better with human psychological tendencies and can be paired with appropriate betting strategies.
Three fundamental characteristics of betting methods to remember:
a. No betting method, whether single or mixed, can change the overall profitability of a game.
b. Without a good betting strategy, using any betting method, including mixed ones, will likely result in long-term losses.
c. Without a good betting strategy, using betting methods can lead to faster and larger losses.
