Personally, I think it's not too bad, as long as you don't bet too much. If you lose, consider it as a tuition fee for learning. The most important thing is to expand your options. You might stumble upon a game or activity you truly enjoy unexpectedly. So, don't be afraid of failure. As long as you keep the risks and costs of failure to a minimum, I encourage everyone to embrace new experiences. I understand that as people get older, they tend to stick to what they know, and I've developed that mindset myself to some extent.
