LeBron is already 39 years old, and his abilities naturally can't compare to his younger days. Even though his current statistics may seem better than his time with the Heat, everyone knows what's really going on. If LeBron were to come off the bench or start in a pseudo-starter role, playing around 20-30 minutes per game, his offensive efficiency would likely improve, and it would also help him avoid defensive challenges. With Anthony Davis taking on the primary role, the potential of the younger players on the team could be better utilized. |
