As one of the highest-earning football stars, Messi can afford anything money can buy. From custom-made phones crafted in pure gold to luxurious mansions worth hundreds of millions and a private jet, Messi's spending goes beyond imagination! However, Messi's favorite passion is collecting cars. In the early days of his career, Messi was relatively low-key, choosing practical daily drivers such as Range Rovers, Cadillac, and Audi Q7.
As his career reached its peak, Messi's income saw a significant leap, and his everyday cars could no longer meet his needs. Even high-performance cars like Audi R8 and Maserati didn't make it into Messi's garage.
It wasn't until 2015 that Messi spent millions of dollars to acquire a limited-edition Pagani supercar! Only three were ever produced worldwide, and it boasts incredible specs, with a staggering 780 horsepower, 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 217 mph.
Unfortunately, due to being a track-focused model with excessively loud exhaust noise, this top-tier supercar cannot be driven on public roads, which is one reason why Messi doesn't use the Pagani for regular transportation. Although the Pagani is very expensive, the most expensive car in Messi's garage is the Ferrari 335S.
Once nearly snatched away by Cristiano Ronaldo, this Ferrari dates back to 1957, with only four in existence globally. When it appeared at an auction in Paris, it immediately garnered the attention of collectors worldwide. Messi, of course, seized the opportunity and contacted the organizers through his team, wiring a £25 million advance payment to reserve it. However, Cristiano Ronaldo also had his eye on it and even offered a higher bid to try to outbid Messi. Upon hearing the news, Messi wasted no time, hopped on his private jet, and flew to the auction venue. In the end, Messi secured the Ferrari 335S without any further challenges.
Unexpectedly, while Messi and Ronaldo fiercely competed on the field, they also went head-to-head off the field for the love of a car. But this time, Messi had the last laugh!
So, if Messi were to give you one of his cars, which one would you like the most?" |
