"I wonder if anyone is like me? I have this conflict between work and gambling. Sometimes, while working, I think about gambling. I think about how hard it is to work, and then I think about playing games, where I can earn a decent amount of money in a short time. However, sometimes when I lose money, I end up losing what I earned in a month at work within a short time. When I'm gambling at home and winning, it feels great.
I often imagine that if my good luck continues, maybe I can retire early. Who wouldn't want to retire early? And achieve financial freedom where you can buy things and dine out without worrying about the cost? Life is like a gamble; nobody knows whether they'll win or lose. Without gambling, I don't really know what my life would be like. A friend once introduced me to someone who runs a business selling health supplements. He used to be a chef and had no freedom in his schedule. He had to work on time every day, and there was no one to take care of his children. Because chef's salaries aren't high, his wife had to work too just to cover their expenses. Then, by chance, he switched to selling health supplements, and gradually, he became successful. Now, he can go out for meals and shop without looking at the prices.
It's not just about what we can win in real gambling; life itself is like a gamble with every step we take. Taking a bold risk might change our lives. If we lose, we can start over, and if we win, it's a gain!" |
