Looking back at the most severe period of the pandemic, it was really a time when we had to rely on working from home through the internet. Online gambling, online shopping, and more were all done "online," without stepping out of the house. It felt like the pandemic gave us an early taste of the future world – a virtual world.
Things like virtual currency, NFTs, and the metaverse also seemed to rise rapidly between the waves of the pandemic. Many well-known companies like LV and Dior, affected by the pandemic offline, shifted entirely to online NFTs. Celebrities also started hosting virtual concerts online.
I'm wondering if 2022 will be the official entry into the virtual world. As the pandemic worsens, more and more people are turning to online platforms, and online experiences are becoming more refined, not stopping at their current state. Therefore, virtual currencies and the like should become a trend online.
Many people say that virtual currencies are a bubble, but I don't think so because they are becoming more and more sophisticated, like a poised and ready-to-explode dragon. However, for ordinary people like us, entering this trend is not easy. No money, no knowledge, no channels... it's a dilemma. It's frustrating to know that it's a trend but not knowing where to start. |
