AzukiDAO rebrands to Bean, raises $10M, plans 1B memecoins.

AzukiDAO has announced a rebranding to Bean and dropped the lawsuit against Azuki founder Zagabond regarding the $39 million minting incident. Developers of Azuki stated that the DAO would be renamed as a memecoin project and become part of the Ethereum Layer 2 Blast ecosystem. They also claimed that Bean has secured $10 million in funding from prominent investors for its development and acceleration within the Blast ecosystem. Bean proposes a total supply of 1 billion Bean memecoins, with 40% of tokens allocated to its treasury, 50% to AzukiDAO members, and 10% to AzukiNFT creator Zagabond. Minting is exclusive to AzukiNFT holders, who must mint within 24 hours of token issuance, or face token destruction.
