In life, should one adopt a high or low attitude? This topic is like sipping a steaming cup of coffee, full of flavor. Everyone has their own opinions – on one side, there's pride and extravagance, on the other, there's humility and pragmatism. Which is better is as diverse as asking whether the left or right hand is more important. But honestly, I think it depends on the situation, and there's no one-size-fits-all answer.

A high attitude sounds like standing at the pinnacle, overlooking all beings, exuding confidence. People with such an attitude generally have strong self-esteem and believe they are invincible. They may easily stand out in the workplace, unmatched in their achievements. However, the problem is that sometimes a high attitude can come off as arrogant and self-inflated. Imagine suddenly feeling like you are the center of the world, omnipotent – it might turn into a self-inflated balloon, ready to burst at a prick.

On the contrary, those with a low attitude seem to be low-key and pragmatic, keeping their achievements under wraps. They may have achieved a lot but always smile humbly, not seeking attention. These individuals give the impression of quietly working hard without changing themselves for external approval. However, sometimes, a low attitude might be misunderstood as a lack of confidence or even timidity.

In reality, the choice between high and low attitudes is not a binary decision but more like adjusting a sound mixer depending on the occasion. In the workplace, sometimes you need a high attitude – stand tall, show your strength, and express confidence. Yet, in personal life, a low attitude might be needed – be kind to others, and approach life with humility. Learning to navigate between high and low attitudes allows you to adapt to different environments and reap more joy from life.

Balancing high and low attitudes is like brewing a perfect cup of coffee, requiring moderate grinding and blending. In the professional realm, you may need to display a high attitude, showing determination and courage. But in personal relationships, with family and friends, maintaining a low attitude at times, approaching everything with a calm mindset, is crucial.

Therefore, whether it's better to adopt a high or low attitude in life doesn't have a definitive answer. The key is to choose the appropriate attitude based on different situations. In the workplace, timely display a high attitude and strive forward; while in family and friendships, maintain a low attitude as needed, dealing with everything with a peaceful mindset. This way, you can dance your own spectacular performance on the stage of life.

Live modestly, work steadfastly, and reject vanity.

Be humble when you have money, and you can be a bit more high-profile when you don't.

It also depends on one's own choice.
