The holidays really do cost a lot of money. In our generation, without socializing, there are no friends; yet, even with socializing, there are no real friends. If you don't participate in social events, relationships won't develop. However, once you've built those relationships, connections, and resources, leaving the job means losing them all. It's not easy, right? One could say that it's difficult not to engage in social obligations. The struggles of the working class go beyond just this, don't they? |
