There are two primary emotional states in a person's life: feeling unhappy and feeling happy. When feeling unhappy, people tend to appear gloomy, avoid conversations, activities, exercise, music, or reading. They prefer sitting silently, walking alone, seeking solitude for extended periods. As time passes, the emotional burden gradually eases, and they realize that this isn't a solution. Eventually, they face reality, reflect on their shortcomings, and work on resolving current challenges, gradually regaining the courage to live.

Feeling happy, on the other hand, signifies joy, contentment, and happiness. One becomes enthusiastic, motivated, and satisfied with life. Personality becomes more open and less inclined to nitpick. Activities are approached with positivity, and interactions become enjoyable. Smiles are extended to everyone, and requests from others are often met with a willingness to help, radiating an aura of affability.

When a person encounters situations or people that leave them dissatisfied, they become unhappy. The more dissatisfied they are, the unhappier they become. Conversely, when circumstances and interactions are satisfying, they feel happy. When exceptionally content, they experience extreme happiness.

For ordinary individuals, these emotions typically lead to introspection when unhappy and a friendly disposition when happy. However, for someone who enjoys gambling, they may opt for gambling as a means of coping.

When unhappy, individuals may resort to gambling. Sitting alone in a room, they see their computer or hold their smartphone and wonder why they hadn't thought of playing a few rounds of gambling to relieve their frustration. They may feel that this is a way to alleviate their depressive mood. They open the online casino, launch a game, perhaps starting with small bets, or they may increase their stakes. If they win, they might initially feel unaffected, wanting to continue winning. However, if they lose, they feel even more dissatisfied. "How can I lose? I need to win, I need to win more." At this point, they have forgotten their initial principles and only think about winning, desperate to use the process of winning to ease their frustration. They may win, but they won't accept losing. The more they lose, the more dissatisfied they become, and the more impulsive their actions. In their room, they walk anxiously, back and forth, with their previously challenging life compounded by the gambling losses, even leading them to contemplate smashing their computer or smartphone.

When happy, individuals may also engage in gambling. They may think, "I'm so lucky; I'll probably win more." With this positive outlook, they may open their computer or smartphone to play a few rounds. They use their usual betting amounts but maintain a good mood. If they win, they think, "This is indeed great; everything is satisfying." If they lose a bit, they may not be too concerned, thinking, "Oh well, it's just a small amount of money." They don't dwell on it, continue with their usual bets, and don't chase losses. If they disconnect, they disconnect, and they'll resume later when they feel like it. Since they're in a good mood today, they don't mind much. They may enjoy a cigarette, calmly watching the screen, thinking, "Dealer, oh dealer, the game of cat and mouse has just begun. The real excitement is yet to come."

Is this how gamblers are? I find myself to be like this, and are you like this too?

After gambling, I found a way to vent my emotions. I don't know if it's fortunate or unfortunate. When I win, I feel great; when I lose, I feel even worse. Can I just be depressed about it? Hehe.

When I'm not in a good mood, I definitely won't engage in gambling.

When making money, one feels like a boss, but when losing, they feel like an underling.

It depends on how you view gambling. If it's seen as a job, you wouldn't want to touch it when you're not in a good mood. But if it's a way to express emotions, you'd definitely indulge in it, just like how I play games, watch shows, listen to music, or have a drink, haha.
