On November 29th, NBA legend Kevin Garnett recently talked about the events surrounding Ray Allen joining the Miami Heat in the summer of 2012 on a show.
Garnett stated:
"It took me a long time to come to terms with it. Pierce (Paul Pierce) provided me with a lot of help. During the pandemic, I saw countless people leaving the world, and that period changed many of my perspectives. We've all grown up, our children have grown up, and we've all learned to look forward."
"But at that time, I saw it as a significant personal grudge. You could go anywhere, to Los Angeles or elsewhere, just not to the Heat. You know the grudge between us and the Heat; at that time, we were arch-enemies, so I felt very, very uncomfortable back then."
