"Delivery on land is common, but delivering food to space is something I've never heard of before! Isn't it fascinating? Is Uber planning to expand its business beyond Earth? Well, credit goes to a Japanese billionaire for this one.
Meet Yusaku Maezawa, a 46-year-old Japanese billionaire. He is set to take a lunar trip aboard a SpaceX rocket, but before that, he wanted to experience space by visiting the International Space Station (ISS). During this space journey, he collaborated with Uber Eats, resulting in the iconic moment of delivering food to outer space! This space trip not only allowed astronauts to enjoy food beyond the Earth but also successfully expanded the brand's footprint beyond the Earth's surface, entering the atmosphere and marking the first-ever food delivery to the ISS. Curious about how long it takes to deliver food from land to space? It's 8 hours and 34 minutes, equivalent to a regular workday – quite a long time.
One has to admit that the times we are living in are truly advancing. If given the chance, I'd love to visit outer space too! Aren't you curious about life in outer space? I wonder if others would like to embark on an outer space journey like him!" |
