"A large amount of cash suddenly scattered along the highway. If you were driving, would you get out of the car to pick it up? Personally, I would honestly get out to pick it up. After all, when free pies fall from the sky, why not take advantage of it, right? Wait, do you think I'm telling you a scene from a movie? No, this is a real and tangible scenario that recently occurred in real life.
Recently, in California, USA, there was an incident where a cash transport vehicle's door suddenly opened while traveling on the highway, causing a large amount of money to fly everywhere. Many vehicles behind stopped, and people got out of their cars to pick up the money, resulting in severe traffic congestion. Some individuals even filmed this peculiar scene while collecting money. While people were enjoying the windfall of free money, some were arrested! Why? Because the money belonged to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the armored cash transport vehicle, and the bank. Therefore, those who picked up the money must return it one by one, as the property must be restored to its rightful owner, or they will face legal consequences." |
