Throughout one's lifetime, many interpret happiness as 'having! A car, a house, money, and power.' In reality, true happiness should be 'having none! — Free from worries, free from illness, free from disasters.'
When young, there is energy and time but no money; in middle age, there is money and energy but no time. Life is like that, never perfect, always with shortcomings. Each age comes with its matching worries, without exception. The troubles of each age patiently wait for you, never absent. Only the current age is the most real.
Everything in the world, you can't bring it with birth, and you can't take it with death. Coming to this world once, what you must remember is that everything is borrowed and one day must be returned with interest. Everything is casual, go with the flow; it's better to be content and often joyful. If you can live in the present with gratitude, that is true freedom.
Throughout one's life, I often think, is life just about living and dying? Living, live well; when it's time to die, leave the world. In this world, apart from life and death, everything else is trivial. Play when you can, be happy when you can. |
