I have an interesting gambling anecdote to share with everyone. We all know that gambling is often illegal, and getting caught with evidence can lead to legal troubles. However, there was a funny incident in the past where the lack of dice prevented prosecution.

This statement can be traced back to the early 20th century when gambling was still considered illegal in many states in the United States. To avoid attracting the attention of the police, players in dice games would often engage in underground activities. However, if they were caught in a police raid, some players would directly swallow the dice. Does this sound strange? It's not difficult to understand. They did this because swallowing the dice meant there was insufficient evidence. Without evidence, the court couldn't prove the actual occurrence of the gambling activity, making it impossible to convict them.

Swallowing the dice is actually a desperate measure, as if they don't do it, they might get caught.
