December 20, News: In the NBA regular season, the Boston Celtics lost to the Golden State Warriors 126-132 in overtime. Less than 5 minutes into the game, Celtics forward Jayson Tatum sprained his ankle. After adjusting, he returned to the court. After the game, Tatum was interviewed about his injury.
"I don't want to make any excuses. When the ankle is sprained, it swells, feels stiff, and it just makes movement more difficult. But I came back to the court later, so I feel that if I'm playing, it's not an excuse." Tatum said.
In the entire game, Tatum started and played 41 minutes, making 5 of 17 field goals, 2 of 9 three-pointers, and 3 of 3 free throws, scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. |
