Thanks to a brilliant innings from Smriti Mandhana in their most recent game, India defeated Australia in their inaugural Test match. Since their draw with Bangladesh in July, the team has not participated in an ODI since then. Bangladesh's Fargana Hoque led her team to 225 runs in that game with a brilliant century. Mandhana continued her incredible form in the following innings, smashing 59 runs. Harleen Deol then rattled off a 77-run knock off the bat to keep India in the game. But the team continued to lose wickets, and they were eventually dismissed for 225.
