Life is short, just a few decades, so why not take a gamble?
In our brief existence, we only have a few decades. By the time we reach half a century, we've already got one foot in the grave.
In these short decades, do what you want and try what you desire. Life is brief; don't leave any regrets.
At the gambling table, if you ask me whether to take a risk, my answer would undoubtedly be yes!
By asking this question, you've already entertained the idea of taking a risk. You ask because you seek affirmation from another perspective to aid your decision.
Think about it. If I say not to take the risk and save the money, the idea will linger in your mind. The next time you're at the gambling table, you'll still contemplate taking a risk, and you'll ask again: To risk or not to risk?
Life without regrets.
So my answer is, if you want to do it, just go for it. If you want to take a risk, go ahead; it's your money.
Of course, the precondition is that you need to consider the consequences – the aftermath of your risk and how it will affect your life.
Moreover, if you don't take the risk once, the thought will persist. If you've never taken a risk in your entire life, you'll have regrets.
In my opinion, if you want to do something, just do it. Don't leave any regrets. Life is only a few short decades... |
