To take it slow or to go all-in?
I think this is a dilemma for every gambler. Is it better to go for the steady approach or aim for big gains?
I belong to the camp of taking it slow; impulsive decisions usually don't lead to good outcomes. So, I prefer the slow and steady approach. Whether it's in love or in gambling, taking it slow yields results. Slow and steady progress brings more opportunities, increasing the chances of winning. Of course, I don't oppose the boldness of a capitalist who doubles down with one hand, but personally, I lack both the capital and the courage for such moves.
I once watched a poker tournament in the United States where both sides had the same amount of chips provided by the organizers. Of course, in such a situation, you can choose to go all-in. It might be tempting to lean on the capitalist's thigh—who wouldn't want to do that? However, this is just a competition, maybe for the sake of entertainment. You can make such moves when it's not your money. But what if it's your hard-earned money? Would you still want to play that way?
Well, I certainly can't afford to play that way!
I've always been the type to take it slow, gradually accumulate money, win slowly, and leave immediately if I start losing. There's no time to take it slow when you're losing—if you hesitate, you might get wiped out!
Remember!!!
Take it slow when gambling!!!
Run away quickly when losing money!!! |
