December 31st News: The Warriors lost 122-132 to the Mavericks at home.
Warriors player Brandin Podziemski was asked in a post-game interview, "Kerr mentioned that besides the on-court chemistry, the team has good relationships off the court, everyone gets along well, but on the court, you haven't found the collective toughness as a team to win games. Do you feel this on the court?"
Podziemski responded, "I think you sense it more, it feels like you're on the bench right now. When you're on the court, I feel like everyone needs to bring that atmosphere for each other. You know, we talked a lot afterward, our energy, when we step into the locker room, no matter what happens because everyone has their own problems in life. No matter what happens, we have to rally that energy, focus on winning every night."
Podziemski continued, "But as the coach said, off the court, we might be the closest friends, been through a lot together, focusing on the core, trying to find balance, you know, bringing everything together."
Podziemski scored 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists in today's game. |
