In a small town in Wales, there is a 75-year-old man named Holbrook who, after retiring, delved into the world of wildlife photography. Strange occurrences on his workbench piqued his curiosity – tools and miscellaneous items were consistently rearranged during the night, some even organized meticulously. After some contemplation, he decided to unravel the mystery and installed a night-vision camera.

Holbrook discovered that, during the quiet hours of the night, a small mouse transformed into his personal cleaning assistant. This diligent mouse not only transported various items such as clothespins, cork stoppers, nylon ties, bolts, and nuts but also meticulously arranged them neatly in small boxes on his workbench. Holbrook revealed that this fascinating scene had been ongoing for about two months, and he personally witnessed the mouse diligently working during the late hours of the night. He found that as long as things were placed outside the box, they would magically be tidied up and returned to their original positions the next morning. "Almost every time, the mouse works tirelessly throughout the night to clean my workbench."

Holbrook believes that this mouse might be a "cleaning enthusiast" who is fascinated by organizing the environment. To validate this, he conducted experiments by deliberately leaving different items to see if the mouse could move them. Surprisingly, the diligent little creature was never defeated by the weight or shape of the items. "Now I hardly tidy up the workbench myself because I know it will take care of it." Interestingly, a similar situation occurred in the UK before. Steve McCusker in Bristol found screws and metal pieces on his workbench also mysteriously organized into small boxes during the night, initially thinking he was going crazy. However, by installing a camera, he discovered that it was also a mouse helping with the organization.

Coincidentally, McCusker once asked a friend to help repair a night-vision camera, and that friend happened to be Holbrook. Reflecting on this, Holbrook remarked in an interview, "That 2019 video went viral online, spreading worldwide. So, I can't believe that a few years later in Builth Wells, we experienced the same thing." This story not only brings laughter but also showcases the marvelous ways in which animals play a role in our surroundings.
