At the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, during their final Group A match of the ongoing ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, India U-19 defeated USA U-19 with a score of 326/5 in 50 overs, setting a target of 327 runs. India got off to a stuttering start as Adarsh Singh could not build on his promising start. However, Musheer Khan and Arshin Kulkarni had other ideas. They formed a solid partnership and added 155 runs for the second wicket before Musheer (73), bowled out by USA captain Rishi Ramesh. Following Musheer's wicket, Kulkarni (108) scored a century, and captain Uday Sahan contributed some useful runs. India made only a few brief appearances while Ateendra Subramanian claimed two wickets for the USA.
