The Milwaukee Bucks officially announced on January 24th that they have fired head coach Adrian Griffin.
Last summer, the Bucks dismissed coach Budenholzer and hired Adrian Griffin. Since then, under Griffin's leadership, the Bucks achieved a record of 30 wins and 13 losses during the season.
Doubts about Adrian Griffin's abilities within the Bucks organization arose since the quarterfinals of the mid-season tournament, especially after a defeat to the Pacers. From January onwards, the Bucks have won only 6 games and lost 5, intensifying internal distrust towards Griffin.
The Bucks ultimately decided to part ways with Adrian Griffin, and assistant coach Joe Prunty will take over as the interim head coach.
According to multiple media reports, Coach Doug Rivers, who has an NBA championship title, is considered the top choice for the new head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. |
