There was a verbal spat between Ravichandran Ashwin and James Anderson on day two of the second Test between India and England in Visakhapatnam. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ravichandran Ashwin resumed the batting for India on the second day.
The incident happened in the second over of the day. Ashwin had a heated conversation with umpire Marais Erasmus at the close of play on day one. He looked unhappy about something and he continued to be so on day two. When Anderson ran in to bowl to Jaiswal, he was put off by Ashwin’s hand movement. Ashwin, at the non-striker’s end, lifted his arm towards the stumps, just as Anderson was about to bowl. Anderson had to abort his run-up and he was clearly annoyed by Ashwin’s antics.
In my views such type of incidents should not happen on ground, Cricket is gentle man game so player should be in their limit and try to avoid such types of verbal fights .
