The sudden announcement of Xavi's departure from Barcelona has shocked countless people. He candidly admitted that he couldn't handle the pressure from Barcelona's media, leading to his decision to leave. Pep Guardiola, the current Manchester City coach who also coached Barcelona, came forward to express agreement, even stating that the pressure in Spain is a thousand times greater than in England. This clearly highlights the immense pressure of coaching Barcelona.

A few days after Xavi's announcement of leaving at the end of the season, he elaborated on why he made this decision. Regardless of whether they win a championship at the end of the season, leaving was already a definite decision for him. The primary reason was his exhaustion. He joined the team during Barcelona's most challenging times, and despite later winning titles, he felt that the media's criticism remained strict. Even in success, he believed that genuine support was lacking, making this the main reason for his resignation.

As the current world's best coach and a mentor who once coached Barcelona during Xavi's playing days, Pep Guardiola expressed his support for his disciple's perspective. According to Guardiola, the pressure in England is far less compared to the pressure in Spain, which is 1000 times stronger. The weekly six press conferences and numerous matches create an intensity of pressure in Spain that is unparalleled anywhere else.

Perhaps Guardiola unintentionally revealed the reasons behind his own departure from Barcelona. Now, he seems much happier at Manchester City, where the team is competitive, and the management is supportive. Unless Guardiola announces his resignation himself, Manchester City's coaches will keep praising him. Regarding who will be Barcelona's coach after Xavi's departure, it is currently unknown. Given Barcelona's challenging financial situation, it's uncertain if any coach, especially a top-tier one, would be willing to take on such a difficult task. It's really hard to say at this point.

It seems that coaching at Barcelona is not an easy task. They have to deal with media scrutiny and internal player matters. It's tough for them....

In reality, the pressure in the Premier League is much greater than in La Liga. The English teams are incredibly wealthy, and each team has the financial strength to make significant signings during the transfer window. This has resulted in strong overall competitiveness among Premier League teams, with minimal differences in strength between mid-table teams. Hence, teams like Aston Villa, West Ham United, and Brighton can be found high up in the standings, while traditional powerhouses like Manchester United and Chelsea are pushed down to the tenth position.

In contrast, La Liga traditionally revolves around the dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Atletico Madrid recently emerging as a contender. However, for the most part, they are still overshadowed by the supremacy of Real Madrid and Barcelona. Consequently, the pressure on teams in terms of league performance is comparatively lower in La Liga.

As Guardiola mentioned, coaching Barcelona comes with immense pressure mainly due to the club's glorious history. The current Barcelona, lacking financial resources and star players compared to the Dream Team era, faces a significant gap. However, fans and the media still expect Barcelona to fight like they did in the Dream Team era, adding pressure on coaches and players. Additionally, there is a rivalry-driven pressure as Barcelona cannot stand to see Real Madrid doing well. If Real Madrid performs exceptionally, it irks Barcelona, creating an additional source of pressure for themselves.

Barcelona is still good, but the head coach is not up to the mark.

Guardiola actually implied something; fan pressure exists everywhere, but the pressure from the club is indeed difficult to bear at Barcelona. Over the years, Barcelona's management has been hard to describe, and Xavi is undoubtedly facing some challenges too!

Master will definitely support his disciple. However, I don't know the real reason, but based on Xavi's statements, it seems like he is not happy at Barcelona, and leaving might be good for him.
