How did Jansen and Baartman’s four-wicket hauls help Sunrisers Eastern ?

Sunrisers Eastern Cape reached the SA20 final again after beating Durban Super Giants by 51 runs in the first qualifier at Newlands. Marco Jansen and Ottniel Baartman took four wickets each to bowl out Super Giants for 106, chasing 158.

Dawid Malan scored a fifty for Sunrisers after they chose to bat first, but rain interrupted the innings for two hours. Super Giants bowled well after the break and restricted Sunrisers to 157/8.

Super Giants lost three early wickets in the chase and never recovered. Quinton de Kock and Heinrich Klaasen tried to fight but fell to Liam Dawson and Baartman respectively. Jansen and Baartman cleaned up the tail and sealed the win for Sunrisers.
