The pair may again play a vital role for the team, according to former Australian spinner Brad Hogg. Hogg in his latest video on his YouTube channel suggested that Kohli and Rohit should open the batting for India. He said that it was the best chance for Kohli to score big runs for Team India.

I would love to see Virat Kohli opening the batting with Rohit Sharma if he is playing in the T20 World Cup. That’s where I think he can get the most out of him with the field restrictions and the pace on the ball. In the end, if you have either Rohit or Virat batting till the end, you could have ideal balance”
