MI Women are the team to beat in WPL 2024. They will start their campaign against DC Women, who they thrashed in the final last year. MI Women have a balanced squad and will play 8 matches in the league stage, facing each opponent twice. The top three teams will make it to the playoffs, with the table topper getting a direct entry to the final.MI Women's second match is against GG, who are a tough side. Their last two league matches are against GT and RCB Women, who are also strong contenders. These matches are scheduled on March 9 and 12. MI Women were brilliant last year under Harmanpreet Kaur's captaincy. They won the inaugural WPL title by beating DC Women by 7 wickets. They will look to repeat their success this year. But they won't have the home crowd support like last year, as all the matches will be held in Bengaluru or Delhi.
