He was just a teenager, 14 or 15 years old, when I took him to England. He had a modest upbringing, but he had a passion for the game. He scored runs in every match he played in England and I could see his potential. I was sure he would achieve great things with his talent. He went on to represent India U-19 and made a lot of runs in the World Cup, which helped him get selected by the IPL team, Rajasthan Royals. I am very proud of him and he is now the captain of Dadar Union, the club where I played for 25 years.
