The transfer saga involving Mbappe is expected to continue this year, with reports suggesting that Mbappe will decide on his future destination within the next two weeks. However, negotiations with Real Madrid have hit a snag due to the emergence of Erling Haaland, causing hesitation on Madrid's part. Mbappe's team is also dissatisfied with the salary terms offered by Real Madrid, keeping the future in limbo.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from Real Madrid in 2018, the club has been searching for his successor, with Mbappe as their target. However, due to various reasons, Mbappe's transfer to Madrid has been a drawn-out affair, with no resolution yet. Meanwhile, Haaland's emergence has made Madrid rethink Mbappe's necessity, as they believe they can still thrive without him.

Real Madrid is not short of funds but won't offer Mbappe exorbitant wages like PSG. Recent reports suggest Madrid's offer to Mbappe is €50 million annually, triple that of Vinicius Junior's salary. However, it's significantly less than what Mbappe earns at PSG and less than Madrid's previous offer in 2022. Some members of Mbappe's team are unhappy with this offer, feeling Madrid lacks sincerity and won't make Mbappe their absolute focal point, potentially putting him in competition with Haaland for honors in the future.

As negotiations with Real Madrid stall, there are reports of Arsenal and Liverpool being potential destinations for Mbappe, along with staying at PSG. However, both clubs are unwilling to disrupt their wage structures for Mbappe. Ultimately, it seems Mbappe's choices are narrowed down to Real Madrid and PSG, prolonging the transfer saga.

Just stay in Paris; PSG has many big financial backers.

It's been quite a long-running drama, hasn't it? They can't keep hyping it up like this; it's losing everyone's interest. Repeatedly stringing people along like this is getting old and has no substance.

Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in Mbappe, but they seem reluctant to disrupt their wage structures for him, meaning Mbappe's choices may ultimately boil down to staying at PSG or joining Real Madrid. With various factors intertwining, it's created a suspenseful transfer saga, leaving fans and media filled with anticipation and speculation.

Mbappe and Real Madrid were already at a tipping point in negotiations when suddenly, Haaland emerged. It seems Real Madrid's focus has shifted.

Real Madrid actually doesn't need Mbappe. Vinicius and Mbappe play in the same position, and Vinicius is already a formidable talent. What Real Madrid truly needs is a big striker like Kane. I still don't understand why they didn't go for Kane last summer; otherwise, this season's Real Madrid would be flying high. Mbappe is better suited to PSG; the club has the money and willingness to meet all his demands. After all, Mbappe is bigger than PSG, so he'd be much more comfortable there, and PSG is happy to be his scapegoat. Other elite clubs require players to conform to the team, not the other way around. Even with Cristiano Ronaldo's status, when he demanded a pay raise, the club sold him to Juventus. Mbappe is no exception. Before Haaland came to Real Madrid, the club was feeling quite frustrated with their spending power going to waste. Thankfully, Haaland has shown his potential in half a season at Real Madrid, giving the club more confidence in bargaining with Mbappe. With the tactics Ancelotti has set for Haaland, he could be the new Kaka, who was the best in the world before Messi's reign. With such a template, and with 90% of Mbappe's ability present in Vinicius, Mbappe either accepts Real Madrid's terms or continues earning PSG's money. Arsenal and Liverpool can't handle Mbappe's quirks. Besides Real Madrid and PSG, the only club that might make an offer for Mbappe is Manchester United. They have money but lack results. If they can't play in the Champions League, I don't know if Mbappe would accept. So this summer, it's either Mbappe compromises or PSG has the last laugh.

"It's been several years of back and forth, and I'm increasingly indifferent to Mbappé. Plus, Real Madrid isn't as financially strong as before, and there's also Bellingham. Mbappé isn't as ""essential"" anymore.

However, it's true that Ligue 1 has its limits. If he doesn't leave soon, it will be difficult for his achievements to reach new heights."
