Chelsea's poor performance this season has put manager Pochettino at risk of dismissal, leading some to hope for Mourinho's third tenure. However, media reports suggest current owner Boehly opposes Mourinho's return, seeing echoes of former owner Abramovich in him.

Mourinho has coached Chelsea twice. During a period when Chelsea was mocked for spending without securing major trophies, Mourinho's coaching led the team to win the Premier League, shedding the label of reckless spenders. Both of his coaching stints helped Chelsea win the Premier League, but he was dismissed both times due to locker room discord.

However, Chelsea's current poor performance reflects a departure from its past reputation of having a strong team spirit. The team is currently ranked eleventh in the league, with little hope of competing for the title or even securing a place in European competitions. Many people hope for Pochettino's dismissal and Mourinho's return to coaching, recalling how Mourinho turned Chelsea from an underdog into champions. Unfortunately, current owner Boehly does not share this sentiment.

Since taking over Chelsea, Boehly has made significant investments, but one of his criticized actions is his tendency to dismiss individuals associated with former owner Abramovich, including medical staff, the sporting director, and even merchandise and coaches endorsed by Abramovich. According to media reports, Boehly does not want individuals with Abramovich's influence in the team. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that Mourinho will return to Chelsea, as it would send the wrong message and hinder Boehly's leadership of the club.

Although I don't know Abramovich personally, it seems like Boehly really dislikes him. What did Abramovich do to upset Boehly so much?

The current bosses and management seem a bit amateur in handling internal affairs. The player transfers have been a disaster; they've bought almost two full squads, yet none of them seem to click on the field.

Now even Chelsea fans can't stand their new owner, singing songs about the former owner before matches.

After achieving success at Porto, Mourinho went to Chelsea and helped them win the title, astonishing everyone! He then moved to Inter Milan and guided them to a historic three consecutive league titles, with Materazzi in tears of gratitude. Many attribute Real Madrid's 5 titles in 4 years to Zinedine Zidane, but little do they know how much Mourinho's influence mattered in assembling that squad! Later, he joined Manchester United, and to this day, their best performance in the past 12 years was the league runner-up finish achieved during Mourinho's tenure. When he went to Tottenham, their owner made a foolish decision to replace Mourinho before the final, resulting in a loss of the trophy! Afterwards, Mourinho went to Roma and even there, he brought home a championship trophy! I ask you, how can you not love such a Mourinho? I love you, José Mourinho!!!!

From this perspective, it seems that Chelsea's troubles are not solely the coach's fault but rather the owner's issue. This owner seems to prioritize personal agendas over financial gains. It appears that Chelsea has a long road ahead to rebuild its morale.

Although Chelsea is currently just a mid-table team in the Premier League, there aren't many clubs looking to hire the Special One as their coach. This became evident when Mourinho joined Roma, a club known for its financial struggles. Despite the limited resources, Mourinho managed to secure a UEFA Europa League title and finish as runner-up in another UEFA competition during his time at Roma. However, he was sacked mid-season once again.

After this experience, it seems that reputable clubs are hesitant to hire Mourinho. Despite his affection for Chelsea, his two stints ended on sour notes. Considering his age of 61, Mourinho might consider taking charge of a national team. National teams mostly play cup competitions, with training camps every few months, which involves less interaction with players. Furthermore, in the context of national teams, the relationship between players and coaches tends to be more harmonious. Mourinho's tactical approach is also better suited for cup competitions.

Once this edition of the European Championship concludes, we can see which national team coaching positions become available. Let's hope to see Mourinho leading either the Portugal or England national team to challenge for the World Cup and the European Championship. With Mourinho's tactical prowess, winning the long-awaited World Cup title for England might not be impossible. Ha
